The Clock: Guarantees Great Shape in No Time
Mineral water with fresh mint, velvet sofas with chic cushions, luxury bathroom products – this is how you might describe the lobby of a boutique hotel. Now this look and feel extends to a new breed of fitness club thanks to the team behind the Library.
The Clock is a new four-floor Georgian townhouse where the A-list go to get in shape and build up strength – fast. Zana Morris, personal trainer, nutritionist and author of the celebrated book the High-Fat Diet, revolutionised fitness with 15-minute high-intensity training regimes through her private members’ clubs in Notting Hill and Barnes.
Now short-term memberships for this Marylebone space mean transformational time in a wood-panelled workout room with custom-built brass equipment. Barre and yoga take place in an elegant parquet-floored Music Room where there’s a grand piano and cello where most gyms have a water fountain or stretching mats.
An in-house chef helps members stick to easy-to-follow results-promising regimens and get the most out of limited time. No pain, lots of gain.
