As well as a 20m pillar-lined indoor swimming pool, the facilities at Terre Blanche Spa include a laconium, a detoxifying sauna, an invigorating ice fountain, a sensory shower, a relaxing steam room and an outdoor vitality pool with bubble beds, water jets and fountains.

Fitness classes are held both in the pool for low-impact exercise and in the fitness club, which offers the latest Skillrow and Technogym equipment. The spa also offers the knowledge of biomechanist Jean-Jacques Rivet, whose Biomecasing concept provides a full muscle assessment to enable you to get the most out of your body.

On the spa’s treatment menu are a selection of KOS Paris wraps, scrubs and body butters to leave your skin soft to the touch, nourished and hydrated. The French brand’s 100% natural products are joined by the anti-ageing know-how of Valmont to present a comprehensive range of facials.

In addition, a curated selection of relaxing, circulatory, energetic and targeted massages are performed by expert therapists using natural oils, to leave you with a sense of absolute wellbeing. For finishing touches, the spa offers a salon with hair care by Davines, as well as a mani-pedi services courtesy of OPI.

The spa’s Zen Garden is a perfect outdoor space to relax in before or after treatments, perhaps with refreshment from the Infusion tea room. Or for a more cocooning experience, head to one of two relaxation rooms to recharge your batteries in maximum comfort.

The five-star accommodation available at Terre Blanche includes a selection of suites and villas to suit every requirement. Deluxe Suites offer tranquility, space and luxury for two people, with king-size beds, large separate living areas and marble bathrooms. Premier Suites, designed with simplicity and understated luxury in mind, and in colours redolent of the Provence landscape, can accommodate families and include the use of a private terrace.

Premier Villas have private terraces that extend to 40sqm, and their generous living areas include a lounge and a dining space, while bathrooms are equipped with freestanding bath tubs and spacious showers. These can also be interconnected to adjacent suites to provide even more space for groups.

Set apart from the rest of the complex, the Méditerranée Villa is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for calm, comfort and privacy. The 100sqm accommodation has a large garden accessible from the living room and bedroom, as well as a private pool.

Other options include the Estérel and Provence Prestige Villas, each of which provides 200sqm of living space, two bedrooms and private terraces with hot tubs. With three dressing rooms and a sofa bed in the lounge, these can be configured to suit the preferences of each guest.

At the very top end of the range, the ultra-luxurious Terre Blanche Prestige Villa provides 300sqm of exclusivity, including a home cinema room, a dining room with separate kitchen and a large terrace with its own infinity pool and hot tub.

Terre Blanche Hotel offers guests a tempting selection of restaurants and eateries to fulfill every appetite. Offering an inspirational menu created by chef Christophe Schmitt using the very best local produce, Le Gaudina has a jazz lounge vibe with a grand piano and art works creating a warm and inviting ambiance in which to enjoy a meal at any time of the day.

In the clubhouse, Le Caroubiers has views of the 18th hole of the Le Riou golf course and is a great spot for lunch in a sporty environment, either on the terrace in warmer months or by the fireplace when it is cooler.

For a relaxed summer lunch, head to Le Tousco, located on a shady terrace with a Provençal-style fountain, which offers a buffet of salads, grills, fish, homemade pizzas and Buddha bowls. Further alfresco dining can be enjoyed at Le Patio, which during the summer transforms into a friendly lounge bar offering an indulgent menu of cocktails.
