Highlights include an 18-metre indoor pool and an indoor to outdoor vitality pool – leading to a private terrace with a bubbling cedar hot tub. The thermal circuit includes steam and sauna rooms and Yorkshire’s very first snow room.
Holistic massages and Ayurveda-inspired rituals come from the organic British spa brand ila and the multi-award-winning brand Natura Bisse provides cutting-edge treatments and facials. There’s also a whole range of beauty treatments on offer and manicures and pedicures are taken care of by Jessica for Nails at the Polishing Room.
The ELITE luxury gym and executive wellness area combines a state of the art gym with a separate strength & conditioning room equipped with a vast arrange of free-standing weights, high-tech equipment and technology. Specialist treatment facilities include an underwater treadmill, a cryotherapy chamber, altitude training facilities and a spinning and yoga studio. You’ll find a range of high-tech equipment such as Tanita and Styku body scanners and EMS suits. Grantley Hall offers 47 exquisite rooms and suites with room types ranging from Deluxe Rooms to a selection of spacious and well equipped Suites.
For the ultimate in luxury opt for one of the two Signature Suites. The Presidential Suite offers the most spacious accommodation in the hotel, with an art deco style decor creating a stunning backdrop. The suite includes a large dining area, a separate lounge, a bar area, as well as a large bedroom with an Emperor-size bed and the bathroom has a private Klafs steam room. The Royal Suite is the most romantic room available to guests – with a mezzanine sleeping area, separate dressing room and with some of the best views in the hotel overlooking the fountain and formal gardens.
Amenities in all rooms include minibars, Lavazza coffee machines and separate tea making facilities, Yorkshire snacks and homemade biscuits and a welcome drink. Rain jackets and umbrellas are provided for guests who wish to enjoy the great outdoors during their stay.

You can enjoy a quintessentially English afternoon tea at The Drawing Room, or sandwiches and light bites throughout the day at The Norton Bar & Lounge. In summer the Norton Terrace is an enchanting patio area next to the River Skell, ideal for al-fresco drinking and dining.
The Three Graces Spa Lounge is open daily for health and nutritious meals or a taste of indulgence in the home-made cakes that are also available.
