Fivelements Bali offers three personalised retreat programmes that reflect the healing culture of the country. Lasting from 3-14 nights, the Signature Fivelements Retreat includes holistic Balinese-inspired therapies administered by healers using ancient wisdom, including yoga, bodycare rituals, healing massages, energy work and a Balinese fire blessing ritual.

The Holistic Purifying Retreat, lasting from 7-14 nights, is based around a plant-based detox and incorporates colonic hydrotherapy, seaweed rituals, a variety of massages and bathing rituals, and guidance on embracing change.

Finally, the Signature Culinary Retreat is a gastronomic journey to boost beauty, health and longevity. Lasting from half a day to three days, guests are guided through the benefits and techniques required to embrace a plant-based diet.

Suites at Fivelements Bali have been created in a traditional style with wooden floors and thatched roofs. One-bedroom Riverfront Suites have king-size beds and private bath houses with open-air, volcanic stone tubs. Two-bedroom Bidadari Riverfront Suites sleep up to four people and have private plunge pools and two bath houses.

Hillside Pool Suites feature large plunge pools, relaxing day beds and seating areas with views over a large garden, while the Water Garden Pool Suite has a large daybed sofa that is perfect for children. River View Pool Suites offer serene views of the Ayung River, while the split-level Fivelements Signature Pool Suite and Meditation Pavilion embraces a high level of luxury, with space for private yoga lessons, treatments and dining.

The Sakti dining room at Fivelements Bali is set between the Ayung River and the resort’s lush tropical ponds and gardens. Its plant-based cuisine – a “celebration of aliveness” – is prepared with true passion and attention to detail, and aims to provide optimal nutrition as well as a myriad of texture and taste.

Environmentally friendly and locally grown ingredients combine to nurture the body, mind and soul with dishes ranging from chia porridge and sweet potato hash browns at breakfast to lunchtime miso ramen or red beet Caesar salad. Dinner, meanwhile, is a feast of colour and texture that can include mushroom coconut soup, chickpea and cassava flour flatbread, and tropical garden pizza with an almond crust and cashew cream cheese.
