A Roman-Arab-inspired hammam experience features a marble tepidarium, caldarium and laconium, while a Turkish salt bath harnesses the power of minerals from the ancient Culcasi di Nubia salt pan.
A Nordic design influence is reflected in the thermal zone, which is made up of a bio-sauna, Finnish sauna, ice cascade and cold-water plunge pool, and there is a large relaxation area in which to reflect on your journey. A dreamy indoor pool has views of an amphitheatre made up of 400 white roses.

Reminiscent of an ancient Sicilian country home, Almar Giardino di Costanza Resort & Spa offers a selection of suites and junior suites that are meticulously appointed in delicate shades of pearl white and cashmere grey.

Located on the second floor, Garden View suites offer a stylish and peaceful retreat at all times of the day, while Pool View suites, with panoramic French windows, are bright and comfortable, overlooking an avenue lined with palm trees. Superior Pool View suites are located on the first floor and have their own private terraces. At 145sqm, Suites dei Limoni are appointed for wellbeing, with 50sqm terraces, elegant furnishings and cotton and satin bed sheets.

Junior suites provide total relaxation with private balconies, custom-made furnishings and indulgent bathrooms. Pool View Junior suites have elegant velvet armchairs and bright views of the resort’s inner courtyard with its lemon trees and rose bushes. Garden View Junior suites can be taken on the first or second floor and their vaulted ceilings and private balconies evoke scenes from Romeo and Juliet. Superior Pool View Junior suites have a 17sqm terrace with vistas of the scenic turquoise waterfall that leads to the pool.

The resort’s AquaMadre restaurant takes its name from the ‘Mother Water’ that settles during the salt formation process in the salt flats – one of the best-known landmarks in the area surrounding Mazara. Fittingly, ten types of artisan salt are presented to enhance the traditional Sicilian cuisine served here.

Other locally sourced ingredients are also key to the restaurant’s fare, including artichokes and red and pink shrimp from Mazara del Vallo, and tasty Sicilian blood oranges with their world-renowned unique flavour.

From morning to night, the Turchinu lounge bar and terrace is the beating heart of the resort, serving a tempting and refreshing combination of cocktails, wines and tasty snacks from bruschetta to swordfish or artisan pizza.
