The retreat began in 1982, when then owner Karl Schmid had the vision of transforming the private villa into the first Italian “Beauty Farm”. Over the past three decades Karl’s daughter Angelika has been carrying out the development of the retreat, transforming it into one of the most intimate luxury wellness sanctuaries in Europe.
The Longevity Medical Centre
At the core of the retreat lies The Longevity Medical Centre, dedicated to enhancing physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, with a focus on longevity. Services include comprehensive medical assessments, bespoke detox plans and advanced anti-ageing therapies. Signature treatments include Oxygen Ozone Therapy to improve circulation and immunity, and Mesotherapy to revitalise the skin.
