Getting There

Health Club and Gym at St Michaels Resort, Gyllyngvase Beach, Gyllyngvase Hill, Falmouth


From London, the quickest way down to the resort would be via the M5, M4 and A30 or the scenic A303. The A303 is considered one of the most beautiful roads in the south and includes the most spectacular view of Stonehenge. With more places to stop and little towns to explore, your journey down to the resort will be one to remember.

Travel past more of the British countryside as you make your way down the A30 to Truro, then follow signs to Falmouth, joining the A39. As you approach Falmouth, follow the signs for the beaches. As you drive down Cliff Road, opposite Gylly beach, you will see the St Michaels sails on your left. Follow signs to the private car park which is free of charge for residents, with 60 unreserved parking spaces.

Flights to Newquay Airport from London Heathrow operate daily and take about an hour. Newquay Airport is approximately 25 miles and a 50-minute drive from Falmouth. You can travel from Newquay Airport to St Michaels Resort by bus, taxi, or hire car.

Great Western Railway operates high-speed services from London Paddington, South Wales, and the Cotswolds to Cornwall, including sleeper services from London Paddington. After arriving at Truro there is one change onto the Maritime line, a twice-hourly rail service between Truro and Falmouth. Your stop is Falmouth Town Railway station which is a quick ten-minute walk from St Michaels Resort.

If you are on a cruise ship and docking at County Wharf in Falmouth, St Michaels Resort is a great place to visit. Only a ten-minute walk from the third deepest natural harbour in the world, the resort offers spa days, day passes to the health club and more.
