The Dormy House slogan, “a bit like home, but better”, could not be more accurate for this 17th-century Cotswold retreat perched high above the village of Broadway, where flickering fires and cosy corners in rooms with sumptuous interiors welcome you to spend some time getting back “home” to yourself.
Stunning bedrooms and suites in unique contemporary cottage styles with exposed rustic features are offered alongside private access to courtyard hot tubs and a high-end service at a restaurant committed to delivering only the finest ingredients in combinations to satisfy and nourish all appetites.
For a thoroughly wellness-enhancing break, the outstanding House Spa provides some standout hydrothermal and treatment facilities as well as the highest level of professional care to ensure you go “home” feeling brand new.
The Spa
House Spa
House Spa intends to make its guests not just feel well and “at one”, but “absolutely fabulous” as well. Lined with comfortable loungers, the atmospheric Bathing Room includes a 16m indoor infinity pool while the Scandinavian-inspired Thermal Suite will leave you soothed and invigorated by its hot juniper sauna, salt-infusion therapy room, steam room, drench shower and ice experience. A high-tech i-sopod isolation floatation experience is said to help relaxation, stress and offer pain relief.
An outdoor spa terrace provides a hydrotherapy hot tub to warm you on even the coldest of days; the Fitness Suite is a haven of state-of-the-art cardio and weights equipment.
Expert therapists welcome you to six tranquil treatment rooms and a couple’s room for treatments ranging from rejuvenating facials to exfoliating body scrubs using Temple Spa products. A collaboration with Beata Aleksandrowicz and Wellness for Cancer makes the benefits of the spa’s specialist Therapeutic Touch treatment available to all.
For a chilled-out café break post-treatment, the Greenhouse provides soothing drinks and nutritional lunches and snacks.
