Launched in 2014, The Luxury Spa Edit is a leading independent online guide to spa and wellness venues, as well as a luxury lifestyle magazine. Our guide features a carefully curated selection of the world’s most luxurious spa and wellness retreats, clinics, and spa-focused hotels, all handpicked by leading experts in spa, wellness, and travel.

Recognised as one of the most authentic and prestigious accolades in the luxury spa and wellness industry, The Luxury Spa Edit Awards has evolved for 2026 to reflect its growing international reputation.

The Global Spa Awards by The Luxury Spa Edit™ celebrate the finest elite spas, clinics, wellness retreats and spa brands from around the world.

The Nomination Process

Nominees are selected by our panel of leading global experts in spa, wellness, and travel. The panel evaluates nominees based on excellence in facilities, service, innovation, brand values, and sustainability. You can learn more about our Awards Panel here.

Each panellist is assigned categories relevant to their area of expertise. Panellists are not permitted to nominate entries from their own brands.

The Voting Process

All winners are selected by public vote. Voting takes place via our website and across our social media channels. Nominees are welcome to encourage votes through their own marketing efforts. They may also choose to purchase our official voting stamps and banners for promotional use.

FAQs

Are there any costs associated with the Awards?

Nominees have the option purchase our official web voting package, which includes a selection of web stamps and banners for £99.00 GBP.
Winners have the option to purchase our official web winners’ package, which includes a selection of web stamps, banners and a downloadable certificate to display in their spa. The package is priced at £299.00 GBP (plus VAT where applicable).
Winners may also order our official gold-plated physical award for display in their spa. The cost is £399.00 GBP (plus shipping and VAT where applicable).
Please note: There is no obligation for nominees or winners to purchase packages or our physical awards.

Are runners-up recognised?

Yes – runners-up are honoured as ‘Highly Commended’.

Is there an awards ceremony?

The Luxury Spa Edit is committed to sustainability. As our award winners come from all corners of the globe, we have chosen not to hold an awards ceremony in order to minimise travel and reduce our carbon footprint. Winners are notified directly and announced online via our website, social media channels, and our media partner European Spa magazine.
Winners who purchase the physical award will be invited to a complimentary drinks reception in London to collect their award. The event includes an official photograph.

As a spa product brand, will we be expected to send samples?

If you are shortlisted as a potential nominee, you will be required to send a small selection of products for our expert panel to experience.
