SHA Wellness Brings A Cognitive Therapy Pop-up to the Dorchester Spa
For one week this June, SHA’s leading medical professor Dr Ribeiro joins The Dorchester Spa to offer one-on-one cognitive brain therapy sessions. Brought to London for the first time, it’s a unique opportunity to improve your mental wellbeing.
Healing for the mind
Using technologies developed by NASA and Harvard University, cognitive therapy is designed to relieve common symptoms of depression, anxiety and memory loss by boosting cell renewal in the brain.
How does it work?
After an in-depth consultation, Dr Ribeiro will decide which treatment technique is right for you, based on a series of cognitive tests and an in-depth discussion about what you want to achieve.
During the private 50-minute treatment session, Dr Ribeiro will fit a specialised cap with electrodes which reads and modulates brain activity and applies gentle rays to specific areas of the brain. Results can be noticeable after just one session, although three sessions are recommended.
Tuesday, June 5th-Sunday, June 10th, 2018
