Therapist Elle begins the treatment with a deep double cleanse, a gentle steam and light exfoliation. A facial massage follows – using a Kobido-style technique (a Japanese facial massage that involves reshaping of the fingers during application – it feels like very light ‘pinching’ movements) to stimulate facial muscles. Jade rollers were then swept across my forehead, under eye, cheeks and chin to reduce puffiness, increase circulation and bring oxygen to the surface of my skin. The sculpting massage that followed felt like it was really lifting my jawline, cheekbones and forehead. My treatment concluded with a soothing mask which was applied across my face, neck and décolleté, followed by a sleep-inducing scalp massage…

Bearing in mind this holistic treatment doesn’t utilise some of the high-tech machines sometimes associated with lifting, sculpting and skin rejuvenation (microneedling, LED etc) the results were quite extraordinary. There was a noticeable lift and contour in my cheekbones and my skin looked remarkably fresh and healthy.
